Nonprofits Exist to Serve Poor People, Not Create Them

The notion that the best way to save the economy is give lots of people ill-paying jobs at nonprofit agencies assumes that nonprofit jobs should be ill-paying.  The fact that one can find a Republican and a Democrat to agree on this says more about the limitations of bipartisanship than it does about the value of the idea.

And the Nonprofiteer imagined the President’s inauguration marked the end of outmoded ways of thinking!
